Contract Carrier-Cases

1961 Finck v. Brock, 202 Va. 948, 121 S.E.2d 373. Defendant owned private bus, operated to transport plaintiff and other workmen to and from their place of employment. Bus was operated by fellow workman and riders paid $3.00 per week. This service was that of contract carrier and not common carrier and thus standard of care is ordinary care.
