1975 Rouse v. Great Atl. & Pac. Tea Co., 216 Va. 293, 217 S.E.2d 891.
Plaintiff walked along beaten path through field covered with brush and grass. Defendant had put a chain across a branch of path. Plaintiff chose to walk along that branch. Contributory negligence as matter of law.
